yeaterday was really labour day. by the time we reached school, mdm khoo asked us to go clean all the music rooms and the band rooms. armed with pails, detergent and cloth, my section and flute section went to clean the band room. we dint even know where to start clearing and cleaning. there is just too much things.
i thought we dint really have to like SCRUB everything. but we ended up moving instruments, furniture around the band room.
Mdm khoo was so funny. she kept saying we dint know how to do house work, blahblah.haha. this wasthe first time i ever did so much cleaning for the band room. we threw away lots of stuff, souvienirs, mcs from 2002?, report slips from 2002, photographs from 2001 and 2003, band performance booklets from 2002, empty instrument boxes,etc. we found alot of other stuff. who would keep 2 BIG hammers, and a saw in the band room? there is this computer dating back to 1995, which i dont think she ever uses.haha. so MUCH JUNK.
we were made to scrub miss sia's tables. mdm khoo wanted it to look like NEW.BRAND NEW. clean spotless. she also made us scrub the floor where she thought there were termite tracks. haha.imagine us on the floor scrubbing the floor at a corner of the room.looks like army punishment.
anyway it is cleaner now. SO CLEAN, NEAT. and SPACIOUS. you can now walk through without banging onto things or stepping on things or trying to 'siam' things.haa
now, i wonder.. would the band room get messy again? when would the junk accumulate? when is the next time the band members are going to clean it like that again?
